Grandma slept till 6:30 today!!!!! Wahoo! That 3am stuff was NOT good! She is up and in her chair wearing a pretty purple sweater so she looks gorgeous as usual. Grandma has used her O2 already this morning (which is a good thing), her voice is weak, but not gone like it was yesterday. Shelli gave her a few drinks of coke from the syringe and Grandma requested a "tiny corner of toast". She has also had about half a glass of water! (that's big) Grandma has taken her pill and had about the same amount of coke as she did earlier!!! Nurse Brooke is supposed to be coming today but we don't know what time that will be.

ReplyDeleteOver here in Eastern Idaho, we had a blizzard for about 15 minutes and then it went away, but we are happy to be in our comfy house.
Lots of Paula and Dave memories have come flooding into my mind. Do you remember in our early marriage days that one time when we were both down to a dollar to last a whole week and remember we did it. Oh, for those days again when things weren't so complicated. I remember Paula babysitting my children whenever I was too sick to care for them. It was great to have that help as we had no family close to do it. I babysat Scott while Paula was having Susan and Dave went to sleep in our bedroom. It was really tough to keep Steve, Scott and Mike quiet. Sure love all of you. Our love, Lyle and Bonnie
