Tuesday Afternoon Update

It has been a very quiet afternoon. Both grandma and grandpa took naps, grandma's was shorter than grandpa cuz she takes cat naps! She has had several drinks of coke this afternoon, more so than yesterday or the day before! yay! She ate a very small bite of cheese, and hated it! :) Nurse Brooke came and her BP was good and the oxygen was...84 I believe. Her voice is still very weak, but she is trying really hard to talk to Susan and Shelli. She is just so hard to understand! The messages on the blog are great, she enjoys the stories that are being shared! As you all know grandma loves to tell stories but can't do it well right now. Lets share stories with her now and let her listen and remember all the great memories! Thanks for everything! Keep the pictures and stories coming!!

  1. Hi Paula. It is so fun to see all the cute pictures. Thank you for keeping us posted day to day. I told B&B that you were thinking of them Sunday when they were playing their strings. We sure do love you (of course you too David). Brynn reminds us every prayer to pray for you. Thank you for making such a difference in our family. Jory

It is fun to see all of your pictures. Thank you for sharing. David, you could try smiling! We missed you tonight hometeaching when Rex came, but certainly understand why you didn't come. Paula, your pictures are beautiful. You have a nice looking family. Cute grandkids! Know that we are thinking about you and are praying for you all. We love you! Susan and Glenn

  3. Sister Hansen,
It is so good to see your blog. I wish I hadn't wasted all this time thinking you were mad at me for playing volleyball. You are amazing and I wish I had known you longer.

  4. Seeing that GREAT picture of Uncle David reminded me of a visit our family made when I was a lot younger! Aunt Paula had made pancakes for breakfast, and I think everybody was having syrup with theirs, but I hate syrup. So I asked for some strawberry jam. David told me NO, I could NOT have any strawberry jam! He looked so serious I was absolutely frightened!!! Paula just brought over some jam, saying, "OH, David!" I think she also got after him for scaring me a bit!
I think I have some pics from when the Telford kids were all VERY young, so I will see if I can get those scanned in to my computer tomorrow to share!
    LOVE TO YOU ALL, HANSENS!!!

  6. Paula, I'm sad your voice is so weak...but you know that just being in your presence strengthens us when we come see you. You have always seemed to have the ability to make anyone feel your love (even without saying a word). I love you a ton!
